F.A.Q

Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions. If your question is not addressed below, please send me a message through my contact form, and I’ll respond with an answer.

Q: I’m interested in your photo restoration services and was wondering — is there a minimum or maximum number of photos required for an order?

A: No. You can send me however many images you’d like to have restored.

Q: I have several pictures that I’d like to have restored. Do you offer any special pricing or package deals for multiple photos?

A: Yes — I do offer special pricing for clients who have multiple pictures to restore.

To provide an accurate quote, please share the following details:

The number of pictures you’d like restored

The desired turnaround time.

Once I receive that information, I’ll be happy to prepare a custom package quote tailored to your project.

Q: What kind of damage can you fix?

A: I can repair 99% of the pictures. If you are not 100% satisfied with my work, you won’t be charged, except for the initial deposit fee.

Q: How much is the deposit fee?

A: The deposit fee is calculated based on the number of pictures you need to have restored. But in percentage size, it is 15%.

The way things will work, once I fix your picture, I will send you the fixed version, which will contain a “watermark.” Once you are satisfied with my work, I will remove the watermark. Once I receive the agreed-upon price, I will remove the watermark and send you the finished product.

Q: How do I send you the picture(s)?

A: To send me your images, go to this link: SendBig to restoration@ecmvilleneuve.ca. Once I’ve received your images, I will review them and get back to you with the cost of the job. Once you agree, I will begin working on your project and notify you when it’s complete.

Q: What happens if the pictures I have are not digital?

A: For you to send me your non-digitized images, you will need to digitize them yourself or have them professionally digitized and then send them to me.

Q: Will my original photo be altered in any way?

A: Not likely. I will do everything possible so that your image(s) are not altered.

Q: What kind of damage can you fix?

A: I can repair pretty much anything. I have yet to come across a photo that I haven’t been able to restore.

Q: How long will the restoration take?

A: The length of the time can depend on several factors, such as the number of images I’ve been asked to restore, how badly the image is distorted, how many other jobs I am already working on, etc., but I will try to give you an estimate on how long it should be.

Q: What are your payment options?

A: Payment is done via electronic e-Transfer. (No password needed)

Q: Can I see examples of your previous work?

A: Yes. To see a few examples of previous jobs, click here.
